A wonderful time was had by all at the Beech Summer Masked Ball on Saturday 14th June.
The event was expertly put together by Sally Leach and Dory Childes so a huge thank you to them. Also many thanks to all those who helped with the cooking and decorating of the Hall – it looked fabulous and the food received many compliments!
The Hall was full to bursting with almost 80 Beech residents and guests all dressed to the nines and sporting masks that ranged from the sublime (see right) to the ridiculous (below!).
After being greeted with a lovely aperitif on arrival (served by two rather handsome men!) we all sat down to a sumptuous three-course meal with table service by our lovely waiter and waitresses! As if they didn’t already have enough to do, they then agreed to judge the best Scratch Masks which each table had been having fun creating.
After the raffle which raised over £200 (thanks to Helen and Margaret for selling so many tickets) we all boogied to the great Celebration Band who were fab as always – they should really move to Beech as we use them so much!
The evening ended and as usual everyone helped with the clearing up, so thanks to you all for that and for supporting Beech Village Hall – we couldn’t do it without you!
