The Beech Christmas Fayre at the Village Hall on Sunday 30 November was a great success with the hall crowded out with stalls from local people as well as those from outside Alton.
The smell of the bacon butties that were being produced in the kitchen pervaded into the car park in a most mouth-watering fashion. The Beech villagers who manned the kitchen all day in shifts did a wondrous job and turned out the aforesaid bacon butties as well as warm mince pies, spiced pumpkin cake, coffee, tea or whatever else one could possibly desire, and later mulled wine.
Following is a photo gallery of all the tables – some had more than two.
