Beech’s annual Gift Fair was held at the Village Hall on 29th November, and it kicked off our Christmas season with a flourish. In a newly decorated Hall, there were lots of stalls selling lovely, original gifts and treats. There was plenty to browse, buy and then to enjoy a chat over coffee and a bacon buttie or apple cake with neighbours. Although there were slightly fewer ‘punters’ than last year, it was great to see many villagers who don’t regularly attend other events at the Hall, and is was a great success with most stall holders going home with a smile. Well done Camilla for organising the event for a fourth year running, and all those who helped set up, serve and clear away!
