Beech Village Hall held its first (for a number of years) wine and spirit tasting on Saturday 2nd March which was attended by 28 villagers.
The tasting was conducted by Kirsty Peet, who is our very own local qualified wine expert (WSET) and works with Gorilla Spirits in Upton Grey. She was ably assisted by Mum Alana Coombes. Kirsty talked us through a fabulous selection of gins and wines, served for us to sample and buy later if we wanted to. We tried them all, assisted by a delicious platter of wine, cheese and pate all specially chosen to accompany the wines. It was a fascinating, informative and highly entertaining evening!
