We had a lovely evening on Friday at the Social – chatting as the sun went down and enjoying a delicious BBQ cooked by Nick & Sheila Sorby. At the end of the evening we held the 100 Club draw and were delighted that the winner this month was John Emmerson. He is known to many as the Editor of the ‘old’ Beech Newsletter, between 2002 and 2016. What is less well known is that he is ‘webmaster’ for this Village website! A deserving August winner, then!
