Following the 2019 AGM, and after serving for over 8 years, Nick Charman stepped down as chair of the Trustees. We are delighted to announce that Jane Short, formally chair of the social committee, has accepted the position of chair of the Beech Village Hall Committee.
Jane, who lives in Wellhouse Lane works part-time as psychologist and is also a magistrate sitting in Portsmouth Court, a voluntary role that she enjoys a lot. She has three grown up children, one in Sidney, one in Cardiff and one in London. At home she has a mad springer spaniel (aren’t they all?) and four cats and now the Village Hall to look after!
Already seeking ideas and activities in her new role, Jane says she is looking forward to meeting you at the various village events and to contact her if you have any ideas, suggestions or concerns.
