If you want to connect with family, friends, colleagues and neighbours, but don’t have access to video-conferencing technology, Beech Village Hall is now able to offer use of its Zoom account to residents of Beech. Please e-mail Katie Smallman (pictured) on [email protected] to book a slot, which must be for an hour or more. If 40 minutes is sufficient for your needs, please set up your own free Zoom account. You will be provided with a password which will be changed regularly and should not be passed on to anyone else.
If you need help in learning to use Zoom, Katie has prepared some instructions which you can view or download: Zoom instructions finalised pdf. She is also available for help and support with social media and general advice about how to use technology to stay connected with loved ones. Thank you SO much and cheers to you, Katie! And thank you very much everyone – such a shame we can’t launch the service with champagne!!
Beech Village Hall is here to support our villagers. The Hall’s meeting and conference room is out of bounds for the present, but we want to help our community stay connected, so we have set up this virtual meeting facility for you.
