The old telephone box in Wellhouse Road is well on its way to being transformed into the Beech Book Exchange. We need your help to cover the costs!
An enthusiastic group of volunteers has tackled the overgrown hedge, stripped off the peeling paint and rust, splashed on four coats of red paint and patched up the rotting door. There’s a bit more still to do: refit the original ‘Telephone’ frosted glass panels, reglaze with safety glass, fit the bookshelves and install a new light.
We need your help! Paint, shelves, glass and new fittings don’t come cheap. £1,200 is needed to cover our costs. Could you spare £20 or more? The book exchange will be free to villagers. So please donate today by clicking on the button!
The Village Hall Management Committee would like to thank you in advance for your donation.
