Firstly, many congratulations to Winkie Harrison, who was our penultimate 100 Club winner in May. There’s just one more draw left to go, because the BVH Committee decided in March to suspend the 100 Club for the next financial year. This final draw at the end of June will be a members-only event held on Zoom. To replace the income raised from the 100 Club, we will run fundraising campaigns for specific purposes when needed, as we did so successfully for the phone box, wood and saplings. You will know what your contributions are for, making it easier to decide whether to donate, and you can give smaller amounts than the 100 Club subscription if you wish (or larger ones!). We now have a ‘donate’ button on the website homepage for this purpose. Thanks again to all members of the 100 Club over the past five years, we hope you enjoyed being a part of the fun, whether or not you were a lucky winner!
