This year’s picnic was held at Kathy’s house at Woodlawn, Medstead Road, Beech on Wednesday 2nd August.
Some stood and talked
The weather was foul, rained all day and Kathy got her lounge ready for everyone to sit around drinking tea and eating scones, jam and cream.
Some sat and talked
BUT people being people everybody traipsed into the conservatory and also sat at the kitchen table and scoffed all the food. There were little cakes, big cakes, scones and cream, sandwiches and of course tea of many varieties and all had a really good time.

Well done Kathy for laying it all on and arranging for the washing up to be done for us, and for having us all at your house. Let’s hope next year’s picnic will be dryer.
