Set in beautiful countryside but easily accessible from the major towns of Hampshire and Surrey, Beech Village Hall is your perfect wedding venue. Our large, modern and flexible space is ideal for hosting your wedding reception. It is a beautiful venue for your special day. Indeed, the picturesque oak framed entrance is a regular feature in wedding albums.
The hall is available for Wedding Receptions on selected Saturdays.

Our large car park and village green enable you to greet your guests. You may wish to welcome them outside with drinks (weather permitting!). The Village Green is at your disposal during the day, including play equipment for your smaller guests. Our Main Hall comfortably seats 100 guests with your choice of decoration. The catering-standard kitchen enables your caterer to prepare the perfect wedding breakfast. |

Everyone will be able to hear the after-dinner speeches, thanks to our integrated PA system. For your evening reception, the Main Hall converts to a large dance space with an integrated disco sound and lighting system and space for up to 200 guests to share your first dance. |

Wedding Reception package

We have crafted our Wedding Reception package carefully to help make sure your big day is everything you are dreaming of. Our package includes hire of the Main Hall and Lounge/Bar; catering facilities; tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery for up to 100 people; and disco quality sound, light and PA systems. The hall hire includes time for set up the Friday evening before, the entire Saturday of the wedding and tidying up time on the Sunday morning. The package costs from £1,200 to £1,500 (including VAT) depending on the time of year. As a village charity, we do not have dedicated staff on-site, which helps to keep your costs down. |

Can we use the village green?
Hirers are welcome to use the village green and play equipment on a non-exclusive basis.

The Village Green is a large, gently sloping quiet space surrounded by mature hedges and trees. Laid mainly to lawn with a recently installed children’s play areas in one corner. |  |
Please note:
- All children must be supervised by an adult at all times
- Noise and disturbance must be kept to a minimum
- Consumption of alcoholic drinks must be confined to the Hall and patio unless prior permission has been given by the Bookings Manager
- The hirer understands that members of the public will continue to walk across the Village Green and use the play equipment
- No unauthorised OUTDOOR MUSIC, lighting of FIREWORKS or flying of DRONES is permitted on the Beech Village Hall green.
Can we get married at Beech Village Hall?
No, we are not licensed to conduct wedding ceremonies but we are a wonderful venue for Wedding Receptions

Beech is just half a mile from the main A339 Alton to Basingstoke road from where it is clearly sign-posted, so it is very easy to find. The village is two miles from Alton in Hampshire. Our postcode is GU34 4AQ.

- Hire charge excludes glasses and table and room decorations
- A £200 deposit is required to reserve the booking and will act as a security deposit to cover any losses or damages. The deposit will normally be returned within 10 working days after the event.
- Wedding Reception bookings includes non-exclusive use of the Village Green (weather permitting, it will be mowed prior to the event during the Spring – Summer period)

Yes. The hall is a very versatile space and we have hosted many caterers in our kitchen and also a variety of food trucks outside our hall.

- Please note the Hall is in a quiet village location, so it is important to minimise noise and disturbance. Our noise pollution monitoring system will switch the sound off if the levels are excessive. Music and alcohol sales must cease by 10:30pm and the premises must be vacated by 11pm except for clearing up.
